Instagram Can Now Record 15-Second Video Clips with Special Filters

OS/Android: Instagram is one of the most popular photo-sharing sites. Today, the company announced Video on Instagram: essentially, a Vine-like app for sharing quick video clips and add filters to them in typical Instagram style.

As with photos, the purpose of the app is to record and share everyday moments you might otherwise forget. Features include: the ability to edit the video clip by clip, stabilize video with a Cinema feature (hard to do when you're running with your phone), and add one of thirteen video-specific filters. Videos you take show up in your feed and are accessible on your online Instagram profile in addition to in the mobile apps.

Instagram version 4.0 is available on Google Play and the iTunes App Store now.
